Overview

Production and distribution of documents are more and more freed from the AS400, iSeries, System i or Power i environment and dedicated printers. Documents generated in PDF format can be easily distributed and printed. You need a tool that relies on upgraded applications, produces attractive and customizable documents and distributes them flexibly according to your choices.


PHL Print creates applications that generate documents for printing

PHL Print creates applications that generate documents for printing. Document templates are generated by an interactive graphic editor that lays out texts, color images and even barcodes at the pixel level. It's possible to define HTML areas that the user fills at run time.

The developer can customize the produced documents. The application generates XML generic spools from the documents. The developer specifies their destination, resulting in conversion into the appropriate format: PCL for sending to a printer, PDF for viewing or attaching to an email.
